Kameeldoring
Dense and long-burning, Kameeldoring from Namibia is perfect for an authentic braai. It burns steadily and fills the air with that an unmistakable aroma that makes every fire memorable, with a long burn that gives you more time to enjoy the moment. This wood has the lowest moisture content of any well-known braai wood, as it’s baked by the African sun to between 0 to 1 % moisture content. It is extremely dry and heavy which is why it takes so long to burn and at such a high temperature. It creates almost no smoke, has a natural musky fragrance, creates many hot burning coals and wastes no energy burning off the moisture.
Geo Culture Kameeldoring wood is sustainably sourced, so you can enjoy a great fire knowing that our wood comes from farmers who remove dead trees to encourage new growth.
Fires fuelled by us become the centre of any gathering. Bright flames, strong heat, and glowing coals keep friends around longer, stories flowing, and laughter filling the air. It’s that distinctive smell of our Kameeldoring that signals that the braai is on and the atmosphere is right.
Whether it’s a summer weekend braai or a cosy winter fireplace, you can trust Geo Culture to deliver performance and reliability. Quality firewood isn’t just about burning, it’s about creating memorable moments and enjoying the experience from start to finish.
