DELIVERY FEES

Our delivery fees are calculated on checkout and are based on your distance from our depot in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

• Zone 1: 1 – 10km R100
• Zone 2: 10 – 20km R130
• Zone 3: 20 – 30km R200
• Zone 4: 30 – 40km R250
• Zone 5: 40 – 50km R300

On average, the delivery time takes between 2 to 5 business days (this excludes weekends and public holidays). We always aim to get your delivery to you on time.

Yes! We sell loose pieces of Rooikrans, Bluegum and Blackwattle. All our local wood comes pre-packed in bags for convenient transport and delivery. We also offer a stacking service, which may be added to your order during the checkout process.

It’s an optional add-on for those who would rather skip the heavy lifting. For a small extra fee, our delivery team will unpack and neatly stack your firewood in your designated spot. No heavy lifting, no mess: just a tidy stack of firewood, ready for action. We supply the wood, deliver it to your door, and spare your back in the process.

• Local firewood (Bluegum, Blackwattle and Rooikrans) is not guaranteed to be 100% dry during the rainy season.
• Consider including either our Namib or Budget Fire Starters or Surelight Firelighters (by Surebraai) to your order to help get your fire going.

All our product pages have tags indicating the suitability of your wood for different types of applications (such as braai wood, fireplace wood, etc.) to help you decide on the best wood you need for your braai, fireplace or pizza oven.

The average size of our loose pieces of wood range between 20cm and 26cm.

We are aware that some customers may prefer smaller pieces for their fireplaces. Fortunately, there is an option upon checkout where you can indicate your preference.

Doring Mix is a Namibian hardwood mix that includes loose pieces of Sekelbos, Mopane, Swarthaak, and Kameeldoring (the exact mix depends on seasonal availability). Available in 9kg or 17kg bags from our online store.

Kaggel Mix is the perfect wood for your home fireplace. This bag contains Bluegum and Blackwattle, mixed for your convenience. Each large bag contains 20 pieces of firewood. Order here.

EFT (DIRECT BANK TRANSFER) PREFERRED

Place an order through our online store for firewood. Your invoice will be then be processed and sent via email for payment. Once we receive confirmation of payment, your order will be dispatched (have a look at our delivery schedules, fees and areas over here).

Make your payment directly into our bank account, using your Name & Surname as the payment reference. Send proof of payment to order@geoculture.co.za

Your order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared in our account.
